Settlement monitoring
The Settlement monitoring system & Survey in Singapore is used to measure a localised settlement or heave of roads, slopes, embankments, utility pipes and cables. Our deformation detection and monitoring services as well as settlements surveys help clients mitigate risk. As structural changes occur over time, they can compromise the integrity of structures and pose danger to the public.
Our team has the right equipment and expertise to detect and monitor tiny movements that enable early detection of structural changes.

Why Settlement Monitoring is Important
Structural changes occur gradually over time due to environmental factors, soil displacement, or construction activities. If left undetected, these changes can compromise the integrity of buildings, roads, and essential utilities, posing potential hazards to both public safety and ongoing projects. Our monitoring solutions offer early detection and real-time data insights, enabling proactive measures to prevent costly damages and ensure regulatory compliance.

Building/Ground Settlement Marker:
Building settlement markers are installed on the columns of existing structures or buildings to determine any inherence settlement or heave. The type of settlement markers to be used varies with the site conditions such as surveyor’s nail for concrete slab and for the soil and 1300mm reinforcement bar installed in the ground.

Building settlement marker is used to monitor the vertical settlement/ movement of any structure. Building settlement marker of stainless-steel male and female threaded socket are embedded/ fixed to a column/ wall. The surface settlement marker is used to monitor the vertical settlement or heaving of the ground surface. It consists a deep ground settlement point of steel rod installed into the ground with 0.02m above the ground surface.
