G.R.A.S. Sound & Vibration A/S
Piezoelectric strain sensors enable indirect force measurements. The deformation of machine parts is an indication for the forces they are subjected to. Even nano-scale deformations can be measured. Piezoelectric strain sensors are used to monitor production processes involving compressive and tensile forces. They allow early diagnosis of tool wear, material changes and production flaws in crimp, cutting, die-cutting and joining processes.
